The RBA and Mental Health

Maintaining and Protecting Good Mental Health

The RBA has a role to play in protecting its members'employment interests and this can go far beyond improving terms and conditions at work, and in assisting with grievances and disciplinary cases.  maintaining good general Health & Safety at work is also a vital part of our role, and this extends to being there for members who suffer from poor mental health.

We currently have two Mental Health First Aiders, trained by MHFA England, who can be contacted by members by telephone, text, or email.  We can then advise and assist by telephone or in person.  The majority of our Delegates have also attended courses in mental health first aid.

MHFA England is the national licensed organisation for MHFA training. More information about MHFA England and its courses can be found at or by emailing
